Ancient World Mapping Center API

The Ancient World Mapping Center is an interdisciplinary research center located at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Center promotes cartography, historical geography, and geographic information science within the field of ancient studies through research, teaching, and community outreach activities.

The AWMC API allows users to browse, access, and interact with the AWMC database. The API uses RESTful calls and responses are formatted in GeoJSON and RDF.
