The Ask Sponsored Listings API exposes some of the functionality of the Ask Sponsored Listings service to developers. It allows ad providers to create & manage their ads to be distributed across the ASL publisher network. Ask Sponsored Listings is the search engine marketing extension of Ask.com. Ask Sponsored Listings offers advertisers, agencies, and search engine marketers an effective keyword search marketing tool reaching 73 million unique users, while also providing a lower cost per click and excellent customer service. The API uses SOAP protocol and responses are formatted in XML.
