The service enables online book sales by partner sites with transaction processing and fulfillment by the provider's UK distribution facility. Applications can search by ISBN to get price and availability data, then submit orders with confirmation responses. The service is compliant with Book Industry Communication (BIC) standards.

API methods support retrieval of price and availability along with submission of order requests, with response to confirm status. Orders can specify terms (e.g., fill-or-kill) and apply promotional discounts. Order management is also supported, including cancellation of pending orders.
