Box.net API

Box is a cloud based storage company that believes people should be able to access and share their content from anywhere. Since 2005 they have been helping make that possible.

The Box platform makes it easy for you to utilize our storage for your application. With our XML-based API you can develop modules, applications, and plugins that can upload, download, and share files from Box.net accounts.

With our latest OpenBox Services, users can bring the power of web applications directly into their Box accounts. Edit photos and images online with Picnik, work on your Word and Excel files using Zoho, preview documents with Scribd's iPaper, and much more.

Third parties are encouraged to contribute their own applications to the extensive Box network of over four million users.

Hey folks, This is Peter from Box. I just wanted to give you all an update on our APIs. Our V1 API has been there now practically forever, and we're in the final push for getting our new V2, 10 times more awesome RESTful API released. If you want to check it out before we freeze it, check out http://developers.box.com.

Hey Guys - I'm Aaron from Box.net, and I wanted to update everyone on the status of Box Enabled, our upcoming development platform. We are in the final stages of planning a soft-launch for the site, and will soon start accepting new projects. Once we have our final documentation in order, things will go live. Thanks for the patience, and feel free to email me at any time.

- Aaron [at] Box
