From their site: EarthTools is a collection of webservices for finding out geographical-related information. There are currently three services available for finding the time zone or local time, the sunrise and sunset times, and the elevation/height above sea level at a given latitude and longitude.
Click the "Track this API" button on any profile page and never miss an API update, new app, or breaking news for that API again.
There are no source code libraries or how-to links for EarthTools. If you know one why not add it?

It is pretty handy to use and quite light weight. But nowadays, they are increasing restrictions such as we cannot call more than certain number of web service calls per unit time.

EarthTools provides various WebServices that can be useful to get the data about a particular geographical region. eg. To get the Time Zones and Local Times according to the latitude and longitude of the place, to get the sunrise or sunset times of the place or getiing the elevation/height above the sea level.
