CiteXplore is a SOAP-based service that retrieves data from the European Bioinformatics Institute's publication database. Users can search for metadata from the CiteXplore database and full text articles from UK PubMed Central. Version 3 of the service allows users to pick and choose the components required, making information retrieval more efficient.
