The Facility Registry API is an open standard that allows to share and update health facility data. The site offers implementation notes, HTTP response codes, authentication, and versioning. This API is an ongoing collaborative effort that started under the Open Facility Registry Service Project: Facility Registry Expansion Development (FRED) and it is supported by the United States Agency of International Development and the U.S. President Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.
