Gengo is a Tokyo based startup, founded in 2008 with the aim of making high quality human translation simple and easy to integrate into virtually any web or mobile application or service. Gengo's hybrid translation platform, accessed via a well documented REST API, enables applications to request any combination of machine and human translations at varying service levels to optimize for speed, quality and cost.
Gengo has been integrated into a wide range of localization, digital publishing and communication services, and in addition to being integrated into popular systems, is directly accessible via the REST API, as well as pre-built client libraries for popular languages including Java, PHP, Python and Ruby.
