Single purpose API
API Mashups (1)
Google has released an updated Gmail API that functionally replaces the Email Settings API. The Gmail API includes a number of new endpoints that enable features previously unavailable through any Google API. Developers have access to filters, auto-replies, send-as aliases, and more.
Ten APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Translation, Banking, Games, and Science. Also new to the directory are SDKs for Gmail, Sunlight Foundation, Strossle, and Facebook Graph APIs. Here's a rundown of the latest additions and how developers can use them.
Use this quickstart tutorial from Google Developers to build a simple iOS application that makes requests to Gmail’s API, which provides fine-grained access to Gmail features.
