Helioviewer.org is an open-source project for the visualization of solar and heliospheric data. The project is funded by ESA and NASA. The project is split into three main components: browse tools, image services and feature/event services.

The Helioviewer API offers developers the ability to view content and interact with Helioviewer.org via a RESTful interface.
