HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) ensures the correct tax is paid at the right time, whether this relates to payment of taxes received by the department or entitlement to benefits paid. They provide an API that lets users retrieve public information relating to tax collections. The API uses SOAP protocol and responses are formatted in XML.
