Memento API

The service provides API access to the Wayback Machine Internet archive of over 150 billion web pages saved starting in 1996. The Memento protocol allows data-level access to the archive to allow retrieval of website content based on date-time specifications.

API methods include TimeGate, which provides access to a site at points in time specified in its own page headers. The Memento API provides access as of a date specified in the request. The TimeMap API provides a download of archived content.
