National Drug File-Reference Terminology API

The National Drug File-Reference Terminology (NDF-RT), developed by the Veterans Health Administration, provides clinical information about medications, including therapeutic intent, mechanism of action, physiologic effect and drug-drug interactions. Developers can use the API to retrieve data from the NDF-RT. The API uses both REST and SOAP protocol and responses are formatted in XML and JSON.
