Hi Gerald,
I've been trying to get some useful data out of this api all day.
Could you point me to any info about how to use this on a website?
The documentation is awful.

yo.nr offers a number of APIs which are a little hard to find as they are not openly advertised on the yo.nr website (just on of them is). But once found they all have there own documentation and are easy to use.
It may be a little confusing that the documentation is partly in norwegian but ... it`s free, so what?
As i did not use any other weather API jet i can not offer any comparison but in general this is a reliable, very structured, easy to use API.
Oh, and you will probably need access to a geonames database to make full use of some of the yo.nr APIs.
I recommend putting the geonames database on one of your own servers, the geonames.org API is slow and unreliable to say the least (in the free version that is).
Stay out of the rain, ^^
Gerald
