university directory API
hi!
i'm building a mashup which uses the google maps api and i want to set markers on the map for the location of people.
the problem is that in many cases i only have the name of their university and their country but not the city in which the university is settled. so i can't find their location with google maps.
my question is: is there a university directory api which i can use to look up the location of a university. it should be a worldwide directory though, because i've got records from people all over the world.
