APIs from telco's
I'm seeking open opinions and questions on what telcos (AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone, T-Mobile, etc.) can to offer more value and attract developers to adopt their APIs?
For example, if an API offered a standard way how to discover, get access to it, get alarms and usage data, and troubleshoot an underlying service (and/or allow a telco to do so), would that be a big value add or a yawn?
PS. I work for a non-profit that helps both telcos and software companies that provide stuff to telcos.
