The Microsoft Bing Fund has announced a series of hackathons intended to develop prototypes to enhance learning and independence for children and adults who live with Autism. The first Hackathon for Autism will commence on March 22nd and run through the 24th. Many individuals and families are affected by Autism on a daily basis; however, effectively diagnosing the condition and proper address seem to mitigate Autism's effect on daily life.
Google wasted no time making major announcements at its Chrome Dev Summit conference. Of particular interest were new education programs, Google Play expansions, and developer manuals that reflect Google's latest tools. Google is live streaming many events throughout the conference.
The Novel Prize API opens the data from the site on Nobel Prize winners to developers. The data consists of who has won the prizes, their affiliation at the time they won the award, and birth data. According to the documentation, the REST API gives responses in JSON or CSV, and no registration for an API key is needed.
