Philips hue allows to control a set of LED lights via mobile application. Apps, bridge, portal, and lights are 4 components that show how hue works. The apps control the lights using a website or Arduino, the bridge permits smart bulbs to communicate with each other via the internet, the portal is a web control panel that connects home to the internet, and the bulbs contain 3 types of LED lights that can produce diverse intensities. With the aim to facilitate this process, Philips hue offers 3d party libraries in ActionScript, C#, C++, Java, Javascript, Node.js, Objective-C, PERL, PHP, Python, and Ruby languages.
