Parse announced new SDKs for Apple Watch and Apple TV. While its original SDK for Apple Watch (watchOS 1) launched earlier this year, the SDK for watchOS 2 includes the entire Parse experience. The SDK for tvOS brings immersive capabilities to applications built for Apple TV.
The way we watch television is definitely changing. For most, it's changed already. Instead of setting up a VCR and hoping that everything goes well, we have DVRs. Instead of racing home to catch things live, we can grab it on iTunes, watch it on Hulu, or the network's own website. It's truly a wonderful time to be a TV fan. With these changes in how we watch TV, it's expected that we'll start to see a change in how we talk about our favorite shows. A new site is using Twitter's API to help make that happen.
PeopleBrowsr is another “noise to signal” processor of the social media tidal wave. The Research.ly platform they provide is impressive and engaging. I had to pry myself away from it. It is a tool to answer the question, "who in this social media landscape is relevant on this topic?" but that is just the beginning. The PeopleBrowsr API is a pay to play way to gain social media intelligence.
