The website uses both facebook connect and Google maps api&#039s.

facebook

Facebook connect is used to enable facebook users to login and use the member site without the need to register.

facebook comments is also used as a way to promote the website.

Google maps

With over 24,000 markers the website has the concept of views. A user can look at the accommodation, beach, activities, shop or services view. When they then click on a marker they get the complete local area.

Search functions allow to search globally by text or to jump to a location.

Photo Map (Panoramio API)

Added a new photo map that places Panoramio photos onto a Google Map. As well as the Photo Map the lower level detail pages also show a list of pictures for the map. As you move the map the picture automatically refresh.

Notes

We are still in the populating stage. Accommodation has a worldwide coverage but other categories are being increased daily and now cover a lot of European areas and some in Asia.

If you know of a good beach why not just enter it and start us in your area, all help appreciated.
