I played this before and was disappointed that the Flickr pix seem to be just a bonus addition to the game, not an integral part.

I'd suggest using Flickr pics as hints displayed during the game, and using longer words. I'd find that more enjoyable.

Also would be fun if the TagMan's body was constructed from Flickr photos (e.g. "head" tagged photo-&gt "chest" tagged photo)

Wouldn't be perfect but could be interesting.

TagMan is about the tags, not the photos. The Flickr photos are like a prize for guessing the tag. Part of the idea, too, is to "give back" to Flickr. Instead of simply using their data (tags + photos) and creating a game, the point is to encourage people to go the Flickr site to explore the tags. When you win a game, you see some photos for the tag and can either go and visit that tag on Flickr.com or play a new game. The game is a fun way to browse the popular Flickr tags, a different sort of front end to Flickr. BTW, I enjoyed playing photomunchrs. -)

Okay, I see what you're saying.

I guess I've actually gotten comments from people wanting to be able to browse the photos I use for PhotoMunchrs, and I counter that thats not the point of my game. )

The idea of Flickr being a prize is an interesting one. I'm trying to work on making captchas that are fun-- like captchas where you play a game or identify some flickr pics--on the theory that people will actually enjoy the captcha and not mind entering it. (But that it will take more time).

Imagine if a captcha got you started on a perusal of Flickr pix..
