Yammer, a microblogging-for-business site and winner of the top prize at the recent TechCrunch50 conference, has released an API to allow developers to build their own applications around the service (Yammer API profile). Created by the people behind genealogy site Geni, Yammer has taken the tried and tested Twitter model, which asks users to answer the question "What are you doing?" in 140 characters or less, and adapted it for businesses, turning the question into "What are you working on?"
Earlier this month Podio added Google Docs support. Now the collaboration platform has added another line to its file upload dialog. As we pointed out earlier, there's plenty of room for further file integrations. There is also an opportunity for Podio to expand its Podio API to allow developers to do the work for them.
Billaway, a rewards program solutions provider for enterprises, has just announced the launch of the Billaway API which allows developers to integrate the Billaway platform into existing billpay and other product purchase systems.
