I have added a UK edition of Storeminator. What that means basically is that it pulls product data from UK eBay and Amazon instead of US like the original Storeminator, but in all other respects looks very similar! It raises the question of localisation of sites that use API product data, particularly eBay and Amazon. On one hand it is very easy to change a couple of parameters and - hey presto! - UK products instead of US. You could even do it with IP geotargetting and make the whole process transparent. But there are some catches - a different currency of course (though that is not a major problem) but also the bigger problem of completely different product category codes (or browse nodes as Amazon calls them). I chose the categories manually since there are waaay too many to just plonk them all on your site. This meant choosing new categories from the UK sites, which is quite laborious.

Still, the migration was very straightforward all things considered. I guess the next thing would be sites for the other countries, chiefly Canada and Australia.
