This week we had 39 new APIs added to our API directory including a home and electronic device automation service, mobile application building and management service, application status page platform, multi-factor authentication for smartphones and tablets and external vulnerability scanning solution. In addition we covered a cloud based time-tracking platform and a face recognition API. Below are more details on each of these new APIs.
App.io API: App.io is a marketing tool service that allows users to run iOS applications in browsers. App.io has features that allow for HTML5 and interactive applications to run in browsers.

Estimote API: Estimote is a sensor-based platform. Estimote can be used with physical spaces and objects for sensor-based engagement, interaction, and analytics. Estimote can be used by retailers and other businesses to engage and interact with their customers.

Exposure Basketball Tournaments API: Exposure Basketball Tournaments provides youth basketball tournament management tools, including features such as online registration and payment, pool generation, bracket design, scheduling, and an event dashboard.

Eyedea Facedetector API: Eyedea is a research and technology company specializing in high-end computer vision solutions. Eyedea provides software routines for object detection and object recognition based on customer specifications and research results.
Eyedea offers an API for face detection. Use the service to detect gender, age and identity. Photos can be uploaded directly in the API request. The API uses a REST-like interface and responses are returned in JSON, YAML or XML formats.

Futurelytics offers a RESTful API for real-time information about customers and their behavior. Use the Futurelytics API to add predictive and analytical features to your applications. Responses are formatted in JSON.
HackerTarget.com API: HackerTarget.com is a complete vulnerability scanning solution featuring hosted security testing tools, allowing organizations to test their internet perimeter and servers from an external perspective.
HackerTarget.com exposes its IP tools through an API. Supported tools include traceroute, ping test, forward and reverse DNS lookup, WHOIS lookup, GeoIP lookup, reverse IP lookup, HTTP headers viewing, and page link dumping.
InAppSocial API: InAppSocial is a social engagement service that strives to enhance the customer experience with mobile apps and mobile content. The platform provides a mobile optimized conversation engine that drives in-app social conversations for the purpose of communications and collaboration between app publishers and their users.
InAppSocial offers a RESTful API for integrating their services. Example API methods include get conversation stats, discover conversation types, list conversations, post a conversation, reply to a conversation, comment, like, and rate. Responses are returned in JSON.
Judo Pay API: Judo Pay is a platform to build complete mobile payment solutions and applications. Judo Pay allows for mobile payment solution customization and addition of a variety of features.
The Judo Pay API allows developers to access the functionality of Judo Pay with other applications and create new applications. Some example API methods include retrieving transactions, listing transactions, and accepting transactions.
konvert.me API: Konvert.me provides network tools, as well as value and image converters. The konvert.me API provides free developer access to the following network tools: forward and reverse DNS lookup, IP to city lookup, and IP to country lookup.
Lake Sunapee Yacht Club Photo Album API: The Lake Sunapee Yacht Club is a summer-only club located in Sunapee, New Hampshire. It offers activities such as sailing, tennis, and swimming to members of all ages. Throughout the summer, the club hosts several regattas, which are events consisting of a series of boat races. The Lake Sunapee Yacht Club has a photo album which can be accessed programmatically via SOAP calls.
LaunchKey API: LaunchKey seeks to eradicate passwords by providing multi-factor authentication through smartphones and tablets. Built around the idea that physical devices are now more secure than digitally stored passwords, LaunchKey provides authentication through physical authentication over paired devices, as well as optional geofencing and device-stored PINs.
The LaunchKey API allows developers to automate the LaunchKey authentication process. The RESTful API authenticates with the OAuth 2.0 protocol and returns JSON formatted responses.
Lauritz API: Lauritz is a northern European auction site for art, antiques, home furnishings, and luxury items. All site visitors are free to view items up for bid, but only users registered with the site can bid on items. The Lauritz API provides users with access to general information on available items using read-only methods.
Lelylan API: Lelylan is a home and device automation service. Lelylan offers features and REST APIs for users to be able to integrate their home systems and electronic devices and be able to control them from the web.

LER API: The Danish Register of Underground Cable Owners (LER) is an organization tasked with preventing accidental damage to underground utility cables. To this end, they maintain a registry of all utility cable owners in a given area. Any companies or individuals planning to dig are legally obliged to submit information requests to the LER. In return, they receive a receipt showing the digging area and listing utility owners with cables in the area.
The LER API allows users to submit requests and retrieve information receipts programmatically. The LER website is provided entirely in Danish, except for one informational page that is given in English.
New York State Police IEPD API: The New York State Police (NYSP) has published a collection of Information Exchange Package Documentations (IEPDs) that can be used by authorized agencies to build web service message exchanges. These IEPDs take the form of SOAP APIs that allow authorized departments to retrieve and - in some cases - update information. This includes information on wanted individuals, missing persons, vehicle registration, NCIC articles, guns, LoJacked vehicles, and much more.
Newcastle Public Schools Workspace Calendar API: The Newcastle Public Schools website hosts information on the school district of Newcastle, Oklahoma. Among other things, the site provides a calendar of all of the major school events for the year. This calendar can be accessed directly through the website or programmatically via SOAP API. Users can employ the API to retrieve or export events from the calendar.
Nexalogy Nx API: Nexalogy offers social media analysis solutions that help users to filter through the clutter of online social media environments and to identify and analyze the key actors, themes, and ideas that are most important to them and their online activities.
The Nexalogy API consists of tools for searching, capturing, and analyzing text from blogs, Tweets, wall posts, and custom sources. Set up processes that automatically capture social media data at regular intervals and then track changes to the conversation over time and watch it evolve. The API is RESTful, and results are rendered either as JSON, or as widgets that you can embed in your site or interface. An API key is required.
Opendatacommunities API: OpenDataCommunities is the platform for the UK Department for Communities and Local Government's official Linked Open Data. Statistics are made available across many categories including Local Government finance, housing and homelessness, wellbeing, deprivation, and the department's business plan as well as supporting geographical data. The API gives developers access to this data and responses can be formatted in XML, JSON, Turtle, n-triples and HTML.
Oregon Metro RLIS API: The Regional Land Information System (RLIS) is a GIS dataset from Oregon Metro, the elected regional government for the Portland metropolitan area. RLIS delivers more than 100 GIS map layers for the region.
Oregon Metro exposes the RLIS data through a RESTful API intended for regional developers in need of geocoding functionality or data describing a given address. The API has two modes: locate and query. Accepted input types include addresses, intersections, POIs, taxlot IDs, zipcodes, and coordinates. The API returns JSON or XML formatted responses.
Paddle API: Paddle is an online and mobile payment application. Paddle allows merchants to accept payments via Paddle online and in applications and allows users to pay with Paddle, encrypting their credit card and delivery information in the cloud so they don't have to enter it each time.

Point.io API: Point.io enables organizations to develop and maintain mobile apps. Point.io’s platform enables employees, partners, and customers to access unstructured data from various places and sources. Documents can be sourced to a mobile device both from public cloud storage providers like Box and Dropbox as well as from behind-the-firewall repositories like MS SharePoint, IBM’s Filenet, or EMC’s Documentum, with one common API.
Printful API: Printful is a printing fulfillment company. Printful allows users to design and upload their design to Printful and select mediums for the designs to be printed on, from t-shirts to canvas to paper posters.

The authors and subject matter of these quotes are unspecified.
Tarya Technologies RSAkeygen API: Tarya Technologies is a UK-based web development and programming company. On their website, they provide a handful of simple SOAP APIs that, as of this writing, are free to use. One of these is the RSAkeygen API, which allows developers to generate RSA keys. These keys are used in a type of public key cryptography that is based on the difficulty of factoring large numbers.
TekEgy API: TekEgy is a bulk SMS service. Although the company offering the service is Egyptian, the website is provided entirely in English. Turk Telekom Investor Relations Personal Note API: Türk Telekom Group is a fixed line, mobile, and internet service provider based in Turkey. Their Investor Relations website is designed to provide information to current and potential investors and includes the company's financial and operational information, regulatory disclosures, and more.
The website's My Bookmarks & Notes feature allows users to bookmark pages that they find useful and to record personal notes. The Personal Note API provides programmatic access to these services. Specifically, it allows users to add bookmarks, add or retrieve notes, and rate pages.
