This week we had 59 new APIs added to our API directory including a content management system for applications, file sharing and organizing service, text processing and translation service, product customization service, and multi-channel commerce platform. In addition we covered an issue tracking API and an API for managing email newsletters. Below are more details on each of these new APIs.
Aspose API: Aspose provides cloud-based services for document generation, conversion, and automation. It works with documents created in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe, and OpenDocument. It is also designed to handle barcodes, optical character recognition (OCR), and email formats and protocols. The Aspose REST APIs enable users to integrate many document processing and management tasks into their applications. These tasks include, but are not limited to, document assembly, file conversion, text extraction, barcode generation, and email tracking.
Bitcoin 24/7 API: Bitcoin 24/7 is a Bitcoin exchange and merchant service that offers a Bitcoin wallet in which to store Bitcoins, and a payment service to allow merchants to accept and make payments using Bitcoins. The Bitcoin 24/7 API allows merchants to automate accepting Bitcoins as a payment. It also offers users the ability to send Bitcoins as payments from an account for use as refunds or withdrawals. The API uses REST calls and will returns JSON or XML. An account is required with service.
Bitcoin-Contact API: Bitcoin-Contact is a site that lets users receive and send messages to Bitcoin Addresses. They aim to all Bitcoin owners to validate the identity of those they are speaking/exchanging with, and simplify otherwise anonymous communication. The Bitcoin-Contact API allows users to make queries that return Bitcoin addresses associated with an email address, and return public information on identities associated with a Bitcoin address.
BitMarket API: BitMarket is a Bitcoin exchange platform that allows users to buy and sell Bitcoins in a variety of currencies. The BitMarket API allows users to submit REST requests to get the market volume, min and max prices for all currencies, get active currency offers, and get latest completed transactions. An account is required with service and SSL is used for authentication.
Bonus.ly API: Bonus.ly is a peer to peer bonus program that aims to improve employee relations and moral. The service creates an environment where employees are given their own budget for bonuses that they can give to other employees. The Bonus.ly API provides users with programmatic access to company bonus data including recently created bonuses, and company values. It also includes the functionality to create bonuses. Catalog API: Catalog is a service that provides companies and application publishers with merchandise, gift cards, and electronic gifts cards for online catalogs and fulfillment of the items including shipping and customer service.

CicerOOs Semantic Graph API: CicerOOs is an Italian travel search engine and virtual tour guide. CicerOOs exposes its service through the CicerOOs Semantic Graph API.
The API provides a variety of search tools for accessing CicerOOs’ tourism data. Examples of supported methods include searching semantic content of major tourist websites and social networks, and searching for the best destinations as they relate to a specified keyword. The API accepts HTTP calls, requires an API Key, and returns JSON formatted responses.
Citrix Online GoToAssist Remote Support API: GoToAssist is a customer service platform provided by Citrix Online that comes with Remote Support, Service Desk, and Monitoring modules. The Remote Support module enables users to deliver live support to Mac, PC, and mobile devices as well as access and control unattended computers. It can also be used to manage tech teams and accounts.
The GoToAssist Remote Support API enables developers to integrate the module's functions with third party applications using JSON-formatted REST calls.
Contentful API: Contentful is a content management system (CMS) for mobile and web applications. Contentful offers a variety of CMS features for mobile and web app publishers and delivers the content to multiple channels from the CMS.
The Contentful API allows developers to access and integrate the functionality of Contentful with other applications. Some example API methods include setting up content spaces, retrieving content, pushing content out, and managing content.
Cumulonimbus PressureNET API: Cumulonimbus is a Canada-based software company that creates Android apps. Cumulonimbus has released an App called PressureNet which is a global network of crowd-sourced atmospheric pressure readings. The service aims to provide improved weather forecasting by increasing the availability of data that describes the atmosphere. The API provides users with access to data feeds receiving over 300,000 measurements of atmospheric data per day.
DFM Ticker Data API: The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) is a public institution that operates as a secondary market for trading securities, bonds, investment funds, and other financial instruments. The DFM provides the Ticker Data API, which allows users to retrieve ticker data from the site using SOAP calls issued in XML format. The DFM website is provided in English.
DiscountMetrics API: Discount Metrics is a data provider that offers a broad range of service including promotion feeds, coupon feeds, search engines, a UPC database, a categorization engine, and other products and service. The Discount Metrics UPC Database API provides users with programmatic access to over 600,000 products each containing searchable information such as UPC, Brand, Manufacturer, Category, Size, Description, Product Image, Nutrition/Product facts, and other information. The information is available on a pay-by-use basis.
DoneDone API: DoneDone is an issue tracking service that aims to simplify, streamline, and organize projects. The service allows users to prioritize issues, assign due dates, share files, communicate with clients, and perform other tasks. The DoneDone API uses REST calls and SSL for authentication. Using the API, users can access a list of projects, get priority levels, get people in projects, get issues, and many other calls. An account is required with service.
drngd API: drng is a URL-shortening service that also enables you to track and view statistics for your URLs. The service is accessible through an open API, allowing developers to easily integrate and use drng to monitor URL popularity.
Dropmark API: Dropmark is a file and document sharing, storage, and collaboration service. Dropmark allows users to collaborate on documents, organize files, and share files.

ExpertFlyer API: The ExpertFlyer API provides access to real time flight data. 3 API's groups are available:
- Flight Availability: Live fare class availability and information for over 400 airlines.
- Seat Maps: Live seat map and specific seat availability for over 140 airlines.
- Seat Alerts®: Our proprietary system that allows for notification when a better seat becomes available (window, aisle, two together, exit, etc) on flights where a good seat is not currently available.
Faithlife API: Describing itself as a bible-centered community, Faithlife is a Christian social network intended for use by individuals, churches, and schools. Faithlife exposes its service through an API separated into two sections. The Accounts API provides developer access to user and group data. The Community API provides developer access to all social interaction between accounts. The API accepts HTTP calls, returns JSON formatted responses, and supports OAuth 1.0a authentication.
Fasilkom Audio/Voice Processing API: The Fasilkom Audio/Voice Processing APIs allow users to identify audio files in MIDI format, enhance audio files in WAV format, and recognize words in a voice recording. Audio enhancement methods revolve around noise-reduction. Specifically, these include spectral subtraction and minimum-mean square error short-time spectral amplitude estimation. All APIs are provided by the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Indonesia and can be accessed using SOAP calls.
Fasilkom Handwriting Image Enhancement API: The Fasilkom Handwriting Image Enhancement API is designed to enhance the clarity of images of handwriting that are submitted by users. These enhanced images are then returned as output. Sample images are available, as is a web console for demo use. The Handwriting Image Enhancement service operates over SOAP calls issued in XML format.
Fasilkom Image Processing API: The Fasilkom Image Processing APIs provide numerous functions for image enhancement, feature extraction, and pattern recognition. Also falling under this category is the Batik Information Retriever API, which gets information related to images of Batik fabric patterns submitted by the user. All of these APIs are provided by the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Indonesia and operate via SOAP calls.
Fasilkom Painting Identifier API: The Fasilkom Painting Identifier API is a service that identifies a given painting as being either abstract or realistic in style. The API only accepts images as queries. Sample painting images are available for users to try with the online demo web console. The Painting Identifier API can be accessed using SOAP calls issued in XML format.
Fasilkom Text Processing API: The Fasilkom Text Processing APIs provide a variety of functions for text processing and translation. These functions include summarizing documents, tagging documents, stemming words to their base forms, removing stopwords, tagging parts of speech (POS), translating from Bahasa Indonesia to English, and retrieving word definitions.
This category of APIs also includes the Langrid Services, which provide a Bilingual dictionary for translating between English and Indonesian words, a conceptual dictionary for Indonesian words, and a morpheme analyzer.
Follow The Game API: Follow The Game is a service for finding radio stations that are covering the Big Game. Users may enter a single location or the route for a road trip and receive back the station or stations that will be covering the game in that area. Query results can be viewed directly on the Follow The Game website, or they can be retrieved programmatically via SOAP API.
Gigahost API: the Gigahost service allows you to host all of your web pages, domains, databases, email addresses, and more under a single hosting account. Gigahost features include high-speed hosting, professional technical support, DNS hosting, support for content management systems, MySQL databases, e-mail, and mobile text messages.
Gigahost offers a RESTful API for their text messaging feature. Use the Gigahost Message Delivery Service API to integrate their SMS system with your own services. XML is used extensively for responses.
Icestack API: Icestack is a customer relationship management system. Icestack allows companies engage with their customers for customer service, as well as enables social media feedback.
The Icestack API allows developers to access and integrate the functionality of Icestack with other applications. The main API methods include retrieving requests, sending requests, and managing account information.
Infraprint API: Infraprint is a cloud printing and mailing service allowing users to upload files to be printed and mailed. Applications include automating bills and invoices, sending thank you notes and welcome letters, direct mail marketing, and on-demand printing.
Infraprint is accessible via a REST API. Third party applications simply send Infraprint an object and an address over HTTP POST. The API supports options such as specification of print settings and delivery options.
Inset Personalization API: InsetLabs allows mobile app developers to gain insights not just about their own app but also about each user's behavior outside the app. Our SDK uses device sensors and other usage points to profile each user's activities, interests and behavior and offers a contextually relevant experience in real-time.

ItemMaster API: ItemMaster is a source for product images and data. The site aims to provide free, detailed information about products so that all vendors have the same information available. The ItemMaster API allows users access to the ItemMaster database so they can make calls to return a listing of manufacturers, listing of brand names, and a listing of items. The API uses REST calls, returns JSON or XML, and requires SSL to be used for all calls to the API.
LocalDeal API: LocalDeal pulls data from multiple deal sites around the country to deliver up-to-date daily deals. Users can subscribe to an email that contains all of the best deals in their city or search the site for deals available in a specified area.
Daily Deal offers an API that allows developers to incorporate their deals into their own applications. Deals are targeted to fit audience and location. API documentation is available by request.
Marvelpress API: Marvelpress is a personalized product service that offers customers customers a white label service to decorate products with user content. The Marvelpress API includes calls to submit orders, receive event notifications, and check on the status of a submitted status. The service uses REST calls and returns JSON. An account is required with service, and the all API calls are made using HTTP Basic Authentication over SSL.
Meebox Cloud Server API: Meebox offers pay-as-you-go virtual servers. Maintain as many servers as you want. Servers can be based on the Meebox library of OS or appliance images, or on images you have made yourself from a clone of an existing server.
The Meebox API provides a SOAP interface that allows Meebox customers to manipulate their virtual assets. Meebox platform object types include servers (virtual machines), disks, IP addresses, VDCs, VLANs, firewalls, images, snapshots, and disk clones.
Miniplay API: Miniplay (AKA Minijuegos) is a website that hosts a variety of free, Flash-based games. It offers both solo and multiplayer games from a variety of genres, including action, adventure, racing, classics, sports, strategy, and board games. While the API documentation and developer information are given in English, the rest of the Miniplay website is in Spanish.
NetCom DataLayer API: NetCom is a Norwegian broadband provider. Additionally, the NetCom website provides a mapping service that shows locations covered by various broadband providers in Norway. This map can be accessed directly through the website, or map information can be retrieved using the SOAP-based DataLayer API. The NetCom website is provided solely in Norwegian.
New Hope Oahu API: New Hope Oahu is a Foursquare Gospel Church and Christian fellowship. New Hope Oahu hosts an API providing developer access to several online services intended for church websites. Supported services include access to daily bible readings, daily online devotions, and an online self-evaluation tool allowing visitors to discover their spiritual gifts.
Notable and Quotable Random Quote API: Notable and Quotable is a free, searchable database of more than 30,000 quotations from over 6,500 persons. The database contains saying by famous people such as Jimi Hendrix, Mark Twain, and William Shakespeare. Notable and Quotable provides the Random Quote API, which allows users to retrieve a random quote from the site's database via SOAP calls.
Open mHealth API: Open mHealth is an open architecture software service that enables sharing of mobile health data from various and multiple data sources.
The Open mHealth API allows developers to access and integrate the data and functionality of Open mHealth with other applications and to create new applications. Some example API methods include retrieving data from specified streams, posting data, and searching data.
Our Manna Daily Verses API: Our Manna is a non-commercial online Christian magazine featuring articles, videos, audio sermons, and daily bible verses. Our Manna exposes its daily bible verses through an API. The API is freely accessible, requiring no authentication. Supported response formats include text, XML, RSS, and JSON.
Parallel Kingdom Trade Data API: Parallel Kingdom is an online game were uses go on quests, fight monsters, and interact with other users in an online world. The Parallel Kingdom Trade Data API allows users to make requests to get trade post, and trade tent data. The API will returns information fro only the prior day, and includes data on price, quantity, pricetype, itemtype, itemsubtype, itemquality, and itemHP. The service uses REST calls.
Pensio API: Pensio is a payment management company that offers technical processing and complete end to end reconciliation of payments across Europe, Asia and the US. The Pensio technical payment gateway solution allows for the continuous addition of alternative payment methods and mechanisms, as well as certification into additional financial institutions across the world, allowing business to respond quickly to client requirements. ProxAPI API: ProxAPI is a service and API that allows users to search, find matches, and receive automated real-time notifications for anything they choose within their proximity.

Queue-it API: Queue-it is a virtual queuing system for managing website overload during peak times. Users exceeding website capacity limits are offloaded to a queue and then redirected back to the site in the correct order, preventing website crashes and slowdowns.

Quickpay API: Quickpay is an online payment solution for merchants that allows the secure integration of credit and debit cards with an arbitrary site on the Internet. The service works with all major credit cards as well as Paypal, Sofort Banking, and other e-banking facilities.
The QuickPay API enables merchants to handle payments in a simple manner. Based on SSL encrypted HTTP communication, all actions are performed by sending a HTTP POST request. Responses are sent as an XML document.
Raygun API: Raygun is a service that allows you to track, manage, and report your software errors. Raygun's features make finding, diagnosing and fixing errors in your software fast and easy. Gain deep insight and fix bugs fast with stack traces, environment information, intelligent notifications, and trend analysis.
Raygun offers a REST-oriented API to manually send and query errors. Use the API to create your own provider or interact with Raygun at a lower level. The API uses JSON for sending and receiving.
Ribbet API: Ribbet is an online photo editor with free cloud storage, complete editing history, thousands of effects, filters, hand-picked shapes, designer fonts and borders. Ribbet also has bookmarking to allow favorite effects to be stored.
With the Ribbet API, developers can integrate the full functionality of Ribbet into their application or website.
SircWeb for Logistics API: SircWeb is a Chinese GIS software platform that also provides GIS-related web services. The SircWeb for Logistics APIs deal primarily with mapping, locations, and route-finding. Some of their specific functions include retrieving information on a specified location, finding all points of interest (POIs) within a defined area, generating directions for a driving route, and finding address locations.
These APIs all use SOAP calls issued in XML format. Although the API documentation is available in English, the SircWeb website is provided solely in Chinese.
Speaking URL API: Speakingurl.com is a free web service capable of converting arbitrary, multilingual text into a human and SEO friendly URL. This RESTful service accepts simple JSON formatted GET calls and returns a JSON formatted URL. The API currently supports English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese.
SPHERE.IO API: SPHERE.IO is an eCommerce and mCommerce platform that includes features like product information management (PIM), customer management, and order management. SPERE.IO allows developers to build any kind of eCommerce/multi-channel-application for web, mobile, app or in-app scenario.
The SPHERE.IO API allows developers to access and integrate the functionality of SPHERE.IO with other applications. Some example API methods include retrieving product information, managing product information, and managing account information.
The Social Digits API: The Social Digits offers tools for personalized e-commerce. Social Digits services allow you to target your customers with automated, personalized product recommendations, boost online sales by tracking visitors, improving your on-site search, and retain and attract customers with target email marketing.
The Social Digits offers a RESTful API. API methods include targeted campaigns, campaign products, product alternatives, search suggestions, visitor history, and more. All responses are returned as JSON objects.
Trippin' In API: Trippin'in is like Nielsen for places.
They disrupt the Travel and local market by offering a new method for local recommendations, replacing the known "review-based" method offered by companies like Tripadvisor and Yelp.
By measuring social interaction (such as Likes, Check-ins, and Tweets) between people and places (like restaurants, nightclubs, or bars) their algorithm can determine how popular (or crowded) those places will be, for any hour of any day.
Tu.TV API: Tu.TV is a video hosting and sharing site, similar to YouTube. Tu.TV users can post all kinds of videos including vlogs, music videos, tutorials, animations, parodies, news clips, and more. The Tu.TV API enables developers to retrieve user information and search for videos. It also allows them to retrieve popular videos, recent videos, videos by category, videos by URL, and more. The Tu.TV website and API documentation are provided entirely in Spanish.
ubivox API: Ubivox is an email marketing service that allows you to design, write, and send professional newsletters using your internet browser. Ubivox helps you to avoid spam filters, collects bounced emails, handles subscription and unsubscription requests, and collects statistics for each newsletter.
The Ubivox API uses the XML-RPC protocol and basic HTTP authentication. API methods include email, media, data, imports, subscriber, account, webhook, target, subscription, system, and delivery.
UK Biodiversity Action Reporting System API: The UK Biodiversity Action Reporting System (BARS) supports the conservation community by providing a place for people to post and search for information on work being done to benefit important habitats and species. This information includes the level of activity, where it is taking place, and the project's goals. BARS also maps action locations and produces statistical summaries of the data. The goals of the system are to help committees coordinate their actions and to help government agencies report on biodiversity loss prevention work for their various commitments and treaties. Developer can access and display BARS data using SOAP calls issued in XML format.
UPCDatabase.org API: UPC Database is a global database of barcodes. The database includes UPC, EAN, and the Bookland system. The site was created to provide users access to the barcode meta data. The site also offers a digital check calculator, a QR Code generator, and a mobile site. The UCP Database API REST calls and allows users to get information from the site in JSON or XML. Users can also use cURL to add barcode information to the database. An account is required with service.
UpCloud API: UpCloud is a european based Infrastructure-as-a-service company that provides server deployment and bills based on hours of use. The UpCloud API enables users to perform server resource management programmatically communicating with the UpCloud Control Panel or through a mobile application. The API allows users to automate server resource management. An account is required with service and detailed API documentation is available with login to the user control panel or through a site search.
Vesica API: Vesica is an online application for managing art, heritage, and cultural collections. Vesica is a complete end-to-end solution for documenting, managing, and marketing art collections of all sizes. The Vesica API is a RESTful service allowing third party applications to retrieve and manage data from Vesica accounts. The API returns JSON formatted responses.
Voindo Barcode Generator API: Voindo.eu provides the "Ultimate Barcode Generator" to allow users to generate BarCodes, QRCodes, DataMatrix, and PDF417. The Voindo Barcode Generator allows users to submit barcode information through the API, and receive a barcode image in return. No account is required, the API requires no authentication, and the API uses AJAX queries.
WeGreen API: WeGreen is a German web service allowing users to evaluate and connect to sustainable products and services. Features include an online marketplace, company sustainability rankings, and the WeGreen Sustainability Footprint—a graphic representation of the environmental and social commitment of vendors and products.
Zmags Publicator API: Zmags is a digital publishing solution for companies that want to offer their customers a consistent brand and commerce experience across all digital channels. A Zmag is an online catalog, a brochure, a magazine, or an interactive publication, all delivered via today’s digital media platforms.
Zmags offers a RESTful API to their CommercePro customers. The Product service provides access to information in the product database. The Product Image service provides access to image information in the product database. An API key is required for all requests.
