"We are very excited to open up access to the flexibility and power of our Predictive Cloud. … By making our patented services available to a wider community, a whole new class of highly personalized applications will be developed at a much faster rate, pushing the boundaries of engaging customer experiences," Meyar Sheik, CEO and co-founder of Certona, said in a press release.

Certona has spent 10 years building its reputation as a leader in real-time personalization. Certona has profiled over a billion shoppers from more than 500 e-commerce sites around the world. The Certona Predictive Cloud will further enhance its reach by opening its capabilities to third-party developers and companies.

The Certona Predictive Cloud unifies profiles and preferences across channels, touch points and devices. Available services include real-time data and application integration, real-time shopper profiling, on-demand deployment of predictive models, multivariate smart testing, targeting and automated optimization, personalized experience management and secure enterprise APIs.

Many analysts and technologists believe predictive analytics are key to the next generation of apps. Without such capabilities, apps will soon lag behind competitors when it comes to customer engagement. Certona has focused on this concept, and it aims to be the predictive analytics engine that drives the next generation of apps. Check out the blog announcement for more information.
