Daily API RoundUp: Oculus, Cisco PSIRT, Walgreens, Cars.com, Autochartist, UPS

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there's a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at editor@programmableweb.com.

Twelve APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including Healthcare, Financial, and Augmented Reality. Also new to the directory are SDKs for Gliffy, a diagram and chart creation service, and Disqus comments platform. Here's a rundown of the latest additions.

The Oculus API provides tools for developers to create virtual reality games and apps for use with the Oculus Rift headset. This Standup API and subsequent SDK's show developers how to install, configure the Oculus Rift, create games, and create 'immersive audio'. The Oculus API is listed under the 3D category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of 3D APIs.
