Daily API RoundUp: Predikt, Pyrus, PatrolServer, ZipBooks

Every day, the ProgrammableWeb team is busy, updating its three primary directories for APIs, clients (language-specific libraries or SDKs for consuming or providing APIs), and source code samples. If you have new APIs, clients, or source code examples to add to ProgrammableWeb’s directories, we offer forms (APIs, Clients, Source Code) for submitting them to our API research team. If there’s a listing in one of our directories that you’d like to claim as the owner, please contact us at editor@programmableweb.com.

We've added seven APIs to the ProgrammableWeb directory today in categories such as Medicine, Predictions, and Security. Here's a summary of what is new.

APIs

Predikt helps users discover talent and screen candidates for hiring, job search, and talent acquisition. The Predikt API is available for partners to integrate prediction features into applications. API formats include JSON, REST, and XML.

Pyrus helps users automate workflows, automate tasks and improve customer relations. Developers can register their application to obtain a Client ID and Secret Key for the Pyrus API. Then, they can access methods to implement through SSL. This API is available in JSON and REST protocols. We've categorized this API under the Automation category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Automation APIs.

PatrolServer watches software manufacturers and adds new versions and exploits to systems as soon as they become available. The PatrolServer API allows developers to automatically scan for outdated software. It supports more than 5,100 software packages and features a dashboard for management. The service will also email all users for whom the updates are relevant so they can make the necessary changes.

ZipBooks provides small businesses with free invoicing software. Developers can use the ZipBooks API to integrate the service into applications and to create and update clients, projects, tasks, time management, create estimates and expenses, and more. We've categorized the ZipBooks API under the Accounting category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Accounting APIs.

DusuPay allows customers to make purchases online without the need for a credit or debit card by using their DusuPay account or a Dusu voucher purchased at a physical store. The DusuPay Merchant API allows developers to integrate the service to handle online payments for goods, services, and utilities in Africa. We've categorized the DusuPay API under the Payments category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Payments APIs.

CoverMyMeds integrates with EHR systems to provide hospitals and prescribers with ePA (electronic Prior Authorization) functionality at the point of prescribing. The Cover My Meds Pharmacy API allows pharmacies to organize patient prescription information. The Cover My Meds Prescriber Systems API aids users with the E-Prescribing workflow. We've listed the CoverMyMeds APIs under the Medicine category. See ProgrammableWeb's complete list of Medicine APIs.
