Desktop Widgets

One of the things I haven't added to the API database has been what might be classified as Desktop Widgets or other client-dependent APIs. Examples of these include:

Most use online data but they require an OS-specific desktop install as opposed to being pure web-based platforms. Safe to say this hybrid blurring of offline/online applications will only grow. Suggestions on the best way to classify these are welcome. Likely to be added to database along with new attribute(s) noting client and OS dependencies.
