Qualcomm Life Partners with WebMD, Releasing 2net Hub API End of March

Qualcomm Life, a health network and wireless platform provider, has announced that the company has partnered with WebMD to provide consumers with a variety of digital health resources and tools. In addition, Qualcomm Life announced the limited release of the 2net Hub API and SDK Beta at the end of March 2013.

The collaboration of Qualcomm Life and WebMD makes it possible for consumers and physicians to determine healthcare needs using available biometric data. The partnership also allows for the creation of digital health applications and third-party devices. Rick Valencia, Vice President and General Manager of Qualcomm Life states in the press release that:

"We are delighted to be working with WebMD, the leading multi-screen source of health information for consumers and physicians. Our industry leading 2net Platform will be integrated with various WebMD offerings to provide consumers and physicians with an industry-defining connected health experience."

The 2net Hub API and SDK Beta will be released at the end of March with limited availability and will allow 2net Ecosystem partners to customize mobile health applications and services. The API also allows device manufacturers, service providers, and developers connect and integrate wireless health devices with the 2net Hub and Platform.
