Mumbai-headquartered Quikr is an online classifieds platform that averages over 30 million unique users a month, has over 250k listings posted daily, and receives 20,000 ads per hour at peak times.

The new Quikr Dvlpr platform and API allow developers to incorporate Quikr platform capabilities into applications, including (but not limited to):

  • Access to buyer and/or seller flow
  • Retrieve listings by category and/or city
  • Reply to listings
  • Post ads in any category or city
  • Display “Ads Near You” — based upon location, if enabled
  • Retrieve brands and/or products currently trending on Quikr
  • Retrieve maximum Selling Price of any product

The Quikr API also provides programmatic access to the platform’s messaging and deep search functionality. In addition, Quikr is offering support and analytics to developers via Quikr Dvlpr. Pranay Chulet, Founder and CEO of Quikr, is quoted in the press release as saying:

“At Quikr, our mission is to consistently innovate for our users and stay super engaged with them. While we are verticalizing our own business in the largest markets such as cars, jobs, real estate and services, this move provides us another very scalable way to continue to innovate for India. We have built our large platform on the foundation of robust technology, and firmly believe that we can further unlock the potential of our platform by partnering with India's developers."

Developers interested in registering for the Quikr Dvlpr program (registration is free), can do so at www.quikr.com/dvlpr.
