Setster Launches Second Release of its Appointment and Booking API

Setster, appointment software provider, announced Release 2.0 of the Setster API that expands its functionality and reach. The API allows partners and customers to build fully integrated, custom booking solutions within existing applications and tools. The added features allow developers to enjoy a completely automated management environment with regards to the Setster feature set of its solution. Kevin Fink, Setster Managing Director, commented:

"Since its release about a year ago, the success of our customers implementing our API has been really exciting. The scheduling solutions we are now able to build with our partners and customers...provide a richer and more-streamlined user experience."

Setster launched its first API around a year ago. Since its release, Setster has enjoyed continued adoption, especially in the enterprise space. API customers and partners include: Kohler, Blinds.com, Rent the Runway, Bonobos, and more. Setster will continue to expand its API to suit the needs of such customers. Fink continued:

"Setster is constantly iterating, improving capabilities and realizing the technology’s full potential. We will soon be targeting directory services, daily deal hubs and the local marketing industry to bring new innovations in appointment setup and scheduling to our partners' product offerings, so stay tuned."

The Setster API uses REST protocol and returns calls in an XML data format. Added features in Release 2.0 include new account provisioning, onboarding management, location definition, and more. For more information, visit the developer site.

Appointment applications seem a dime a dozen these days. However, enterprise grade appointment software that can integrate with existing applications and workflows via API come far and in between.
