There's Safety In Numbers: Group Runs Made Easy With RunAlong's API

When it comes to exercise, motivation is key. Having other people to spur you on helps you maintain your fitness goals and just makes the whole process more enjoyable. RunAlong is a female health community for group runs and walks, developed out of a need to create a system that enabled women to run safely and to stay motivated. A lot of women don't feel comfortable or safe running on their own, especially after hours when it may be getting dark; besides, it's always more fun with a crowd! The RunAlong API makes this data available to be integrated into other applications that could further aid the group running trend.
