HelloSign has released a new eSignature API that it hopes will allow companies to include eSignature capabilities in its core infrastructure. Plus, New York City Council aims for open API.

HelloSign Launches New and Improved API

HelloSign, leader in eSignature technology, has launched a new and improved API. The REST API allows developers to integrate eSignature technology directly into existing infrastructure. The new API allows for self sign up, fully embedded signatures, SDKs for four languages (more on the way), transparent pricing, and free development.

HelloSign is investing heavily in API development as it believes eSignature capability is a core piece of infrastructure. Current users agree with HelloSign’s claim. For instance, Max Mullen of InstaCart commented:

"The HelloSign API is an important enabler for our business. If we couldn’t collect eSignatures we couldn’t be in this business. It would just be too cumbersome at scale.”
