Hi. I'm Kevin Farnham. I own and run Lyra Technical Systems, a small software consulting and publishing company.

I do a lot of work with O'Reilly Media, currently as Community Manager for the Threading Building Blocks open source project previously I was Managing Editor for the AOL Developer Community.

When I'm not writing about technology, I do software engineering, specializing in mathematical modeling, simulation, and scientific data analysis.
