I cut my teeth with COBOL, FORTRAN, punch cards and ICL drum storage (drums preceded discs).
Pascal and structured programming were considered truly revolutionary so that makes me over 50 and British (but living in Holland).
I\'ve lived and worked through all the IT \'revolutions\', but Web 2.0 has inspired me more than any.
Incredibly the SQL, Design Patterns and Java books I bought and avidly read in the early 1990\'s are more relevant today.

It\'s all coming good!
