Google has made several announcements including the launch of the Google Consumer Surveys API, the general availability of the Google Cloud Vision API with new features, the launch of Google Cloud CDN Beta, and the launch of Autodesk Maya. The APIs are available on the Google Cloud Platform site.
Handshake, sales order processing platform, offers the Handshake API that allows developers to integrate Handshake with third party applications and services. Handshake allows users to write, accept, and sync orders across any device or server running the Handshake platform. Additionally, Handshake supports barcode scanning for more streamlined order processing.
Ticketbud, online ticket sales platform, is now beta testing the first Ticketbud API. Ticketbud allows users to create and manage ticket sales for any event. Although the platform allows event creation, the API is read only for the beta period. Ticketbud simplifies event management into five easy to follow steps: 1) create event 2) add tickets 3) publish event 4) promote event 5) manage event entry. Although the API is not ready to incorporate all five steps, Ticketbud is headed in that direction.
