Firebase, real-time backend for web application development, originally launched a little over a year ago. Since its launch, Firebase has remained in beta while it continued to improve its service and build a customer base. Over the past year, Firebase has added features, functionality, and thousands of customers. Accordingly, Firebase has announced it is leaving its beta stages behind and publically launching as a full-fledged paid product.
GitHub has added several new features to the platform to help make code reviews even faster and more flexible for developers and development teams. The new code review features include pull request files list, commits list, comments with deeper context, and timeline indicator.
Plagiarism is a hot topic. The (ex) German Education Minister did it. George Harrison (yes, that one) did it. Jonah Lehrer, formerly of The New Yorker, did it (and got paid $20,000 for confessing!). As Pablo Picasso put it, "Good artists copy, great artists steal," but so do lots of other people.
