Calls to the Decibel API are made through query objects, which take care of all the logic involved in running a REST query, including deserializing the results to handy result objects. These can then be used to integrate Decibel data into an application.

In addition, the Foundation Center has also provided a Foundation Stats API allowing developers programmatic access to the philanthropy data available at Foundation Stats.
ShareMyPlaylists, a Spotify playlist sharing site, has just announced the release of the ShareMyPlaylists API, allowing developers access to thousands of playlists, millions of song tracks and a wealth of playlist metadata.
The most popular API, in terms of mashup count, is far and away the Google Maps API, which accounts for 41% of all mashups. But when it comes to the most popular pair of APIs, Flickr and YouTube mashups are the most common. Not to be outdone, Google Maps joins Flickr in a near second place.
