Splunk is a service that collects, indexes, and searches all types of machine data (physical, virtual, cloud). The Splunk SDK for Python allows for application written in Python to programmatically interact with the Splunk engine. The SDK is built on top of the REST API, providing a wrapper over the REST API endpoints.
