Diner Connection is here to revolutionize the way you communicate with your patrons by utilizing text messaging to notify customers of ready tables and daily specials. The conversation continues after the dining experience, with the restaurant having the ability to market to their customers via text messaging as well. This not only benefits the restaurant, but the businesses around them. Letting customers shop, enjoy a park, or just stay in the car with a sleeping child makes for happier customers. We have integrated with StatsMix to give our administration piece a dashboard of statistics about DinerConnection. We are tracking general social media mentions, and also detailed information about how many people have been added to waiting lists, how and many SMS messages are incoming/outgoing. It gives us a great aggregation tool to see the growth and trends of our customers usage. 

So, what can you do with our group text messaging API? The simplest, most popular functions allow you to use Ez Texting's SMS gateway to send and receive text messages from within your own application. 

This is a tutorial that explains how to create an iOS or Android app that uses SendGrid to send email.

This tutorial is based on code created at the [App Developer Conference Conference and Hackathon](http://appdevconf.engagedigital.com) in Santa Clara, CA as a result of about 4 hours of hack time. Thus, it is extremely rough, though it should serve as a good starting point for working with both [AppMobi](http://www.appmobi.com) and the [SendGrid API](http://docs.sendgrid.com/documentation/api). This code has been tested on a MacBook Air running Lion. The iOS portion was tested using an iPhone 4s using the AppMobi labs iPhone app. This program will allow you to send an email within your iPhone or Android app, view rudimentary account statistics and receive a SMS message when a link is clicked in your email. 

Add Ez Texting support to your Ruby application in two lines of code with this Ruby Gem. When you push out a message it comes from the Ez Texting short code. Other services like carrier lookup are also exposed through the gem. Voice messages are also supported - just specify the location of a file to play.  

The SMS Gateway project enables you to implement chat over SMS. The application communicates with a GSM modem connected to the computer using AT commands.
