The World Magnetic Model API calculates the intensity and direction of the Earth's magnetic field on a specific date-time, geodetic altitude, latitude, and longitude. It is relied upon throughout the world for navigation, mineral exploration, atmospheric and space science, and is installed on billions of devices.
A comprehensive description of the World Magnetic Model, including its limitations, can be found in the documentation.
We provide a RESTful API to the World Magnetic Model for free access to the out-of-cycle WMM (WMM2015v2) valid for 2015.0 - 2020.0.
The API wraps the original WMM code.

The following is a list of SDKs from our SDK directory that matched your search term. Though your definition of an SDK may differ, in our world, we define SDKs as platform- specific tools for consuming existing APIs of the sort we list in our API directory. For example, the Ruby SDK for consuming the Twitter Ads API. If you think an SDK, API, or other asset is missing from our directory, be sure to check our guidelines for making contributions to ProgrammableWeb.
This Python SDK connects to the Amentum Atmosphere API which compares the current values of atmospheric density or temperature. Additionally, this package provides experimental results or predictions of other models.
The Amentum Global Magnet Python SDK is used to generate data results associated with the Earth's magnetic field. This package connects to the Amentum API which measures and calculates the values of magnetic declination.
