Apigee Edge API is a RESTful developer resource for accessing a range of API management services via HTTP client paths. The Apigee Edge makes it possible for developers to deploy scheduled scripting, and ultimately automate their development and management endeavors, such as the management of apps and creation of API products or API proxies. The fully released and documented API is anchored on the Edge management UI and requires HTTP requests, which in turn, generate responses in XML and JSON formats. Apigee Edge’s provider, the Apigee Corporation, is a leading vendor of proprietary solutions for managing APIs.
