Asana is an online platform for teams to manage and share tasks. Asana offers both web and mobile applications for teams to organize, assign, and track task management items.
The Asana API allows developers to access and integrate the functionality of Asana with other applications and to create new applications. Some example API methods include managing users, creating and managing tasks, and accessing projects and workspaces.
Asana, Silicon Valley’s celebrity task management and productivity service, recently launched it’s long awaited, Asana API. This initial API looks like a small step in the right direction. It’s designed in a RESTful structure, and provides simple access to Asana’s basic functionality. There’s nothing out of the ordinary for the moment but, Asana assured us that this is just the start of their platform initiative.
