Crowd is a Remote API for Atlassian's Single Sign On Software. The API makes basic HTTP requests with the default response in XML. However, the API can be configured to return JSON instead. This REST API is based on open standards so it can accept any programming language. A few of the features the Crowd Remote API offers are: user authentication,; retrieving, adding, updating and removing users; updating a user's password and requesting a password reset; retrieving, adding, updating and removing groups.
