BigWorldData is a scientific information provider that uses satellite data to monitor the effects of drought, reduce water usage and crop usage, evaluate irrigation systems, and derive other information. The BigWorldData NDWI API provides scientists, developers, agronomists, and other industries access to global satellite data taken every two days. The data derives the Normalized Difference Water Index. The API is free to access.
