The SOMA Shape API provides a programmatic interface to get shape and measurement values from images, height, weight, and gender.
The API implements two types of resources: files and artifacts, referenced respectively with the /files and /artifacts endpoints. A file encapsulates an external input (e.g., a photo). An artifact encapsulates a computed object (e.g., 3D mesh and measurements of a mesh generated from image).
Body Labs is a horizontal solution provider of human-aware AI that understands the way we move and how we’re shaped to make our world more personal. Body Labs uses human-aware AI to capture and use 3D body motion and shape for numerous industries.
Nineteen APIs have been added to the ProgrammableWeb directory in categories including 3D, Sales, Analytics, and Banking. Highlights today are several APIs from Barclays from their Rise Marketplace initiative, and the Body Labs SOMA Shape API for 3D measurements, movements, and visuals.
Body Labs introduced API access to its SOMA technology. SOMA scans a single photo of a human; analyzes the photo along with the subject's height, weight, and gender; and then generates a 3D model and digital measurements for the subject. The SOMA Shape API provides programmatic access to the tech.
