Cex.io is a Bitcoin commodity exchange that that doesn't sell bitcoins, but shares in the equipment used to mine them. Users have ownership shares, and pay a fee for equipment cost and upkeep, and earn bitcoins as the machines produce them. The Cex.io API uses REST calls, returns JSON, and allows users to make queries to execute trades and get pricing information. An account is required with service, and an API key and SSL are used for authentication.
