The Clickatell FTP API allows you to upload a text file to the Clickatell FTP server to send bulk SMS. It provides once-off, high volume message dispatches for promotions and other messaging that is not time-sensitive, with a limit of 50,000 messages at a time. With the FTP API, you can send concatenated messages, use ringtone and logo converters, set up sender ID and more. You will also have access to gateway escalation and queuing, which lets you specify up to 3 prioritized queues according to which messages will be sent out.
