The Clipchamp API lets you embed a button on your website or web app that your visitors can click on to record, compress, convert & upload videos to you. It comes with a number of resolution (incl. 480p, 720p, 1080p), format (incl. MP4 and WebM) and compression (5 levels) options.
Your users' video files get processed (converted & compressed) on the client before they get uploaded to you, resulting in smaller files and faster uploads. This helps reduce or eliminate costs involved in server-side video transcoding. The API is built using HTML5 (no Flash involved), and works in desktop and mobile browsers.
The following is a list of sample source code snippets that matched your search term. Source code snippets are chunks of source code that were found out on the Web that you can cut and paste into your own source code. Whereas most of the sample source code we've curated for our directory is for consuming APIs, we occasionally find something interesting on the API provider side of things. If you know of some sample source code that would be of interest to the ProgrammableWeb community, we'd like to know about it.
